Newborn resuscitation, ultrasound screening, suturing techniques, physiotherapy - these are just some of the topics of the rich program of the fifth Olomouc School of Midwifery. This year´s program will start on Monday, September 8, when the Faculty of Health Sciences UP will welcome guests from Estonia, Belgium, Leipzig and Bratislava. For the first time ever, students and teachers from Stavanger University in Norway and Semmelweiss University in Budapest will attend this event organized by the Department of Midwifery of the Faculty of Health Sciences UP.
Participants in the traditional week-long event can expect practical workshops and seminars in which they can confront the procedures and teaching in their countries and learn new skills. Experts from the Olomouc University Hospital will also participate in the teaching, where an excursion to the Gynecological and Obstetrics Clinic will also take place.
