Our 4th-year Physiotherapy students have just started their final clinical placement!
In their final year, they are completing a 4-week intensive internship at Sanatoria Klimkovice, thanks to our ongoing collaboration with the Rehabilitation Department led by Romana Holaňová.
Sanatoria Klimkovice cares for children aged 1–18, which gives our students the chance to work with a wide range of paediatric neurological and movement disorders. They observe diverse clinical presentations and engage in different therapeutic approaches within highly specialised long-term care.
The placement is based on a strong interdisciplinary approach, allowing students to experience how experts from different fields coordinate therapy and create a unified treatment plan for each child.
Over four intensive weeks, students join therapeutic teams, participate in assessments and treatments, and reflect on their own clinical skills as they prepare to enter professional practice. This experience helps them connect theory with real-life rehabilitation and supports their development as future physiotherapists.
