The management of the Faculty of Health Sciences at Palacký University Olomouc condemns the violence perpetrated against the Iranian civilian population as well as other repressive measures, including restrictions on communication and freedom of movement. We would like to express our support for Iranian students who are adversely affected by this situation both in Olomouc and in their home country, from which they are currently unable to return. Many remain cut off from their loved ones and are unable to contact their families. The Faculty of Health Sciences is monitoring the development and offers students available support, including psychological counselling. The management of the Faculty of Health Sciences will strive to ensure that all students from Iran can soon continue their studies in safety and good health.
